About WCC

Massive demand drives move to Hong Kong

SUCH has been the initial demand for delegate places and meeting booth packages, the Chinese International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA), Air Cargo Media and the WCA Family of Logistic Networks, have elected to move the first annual World Cargo Connections event to a larger location in neighbouring Hong Kong.

Initially planned to take place in Shenzhen in October 2010, the event will now take place at the state-of-the-art AsiaWorld-Expo conference and exhibition centre from 26-29 September 2010.

Ideally located 5 minutes by shuttle or train from both Hong Kong Airport and the main event hotel – the luxurious Regal Airport Hotel – AsiaWorld-Expo will allow WCC to accommodate over 2,000 delegates and 100 meeting booths that are now anticipated to attend. Not only is Hong Kong the world’s leading air cargo hub, it is also one of Asia’s major ocean freight ports making it the perfect location for the event.

Hong Kong has unparalleled international access by air, allowing attendees from across the globe to arrive at the event hotel within minutes of landing.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to combine the unique business and networking opportunities at World Cargo Connections with meetings with resident clients and customers, helping make WCC the most cost-effective and productive event in the logistics industry.

Due to unprecedented initial demand from freight forwarders and air cargo companies, the one-on-one meeting format has been extended from 2 ½ days to three days to allow tens of thousands of networking meetings to be completed.
